    I got these trunks at an auction last night - they are lined with red velvet, I tried to find something similar on the internet but none like these. I was wondering if anyone can give me any info, history etc?

      I would surmise that these are modern decorative trunks. Perhaps they were made in Indonesia. They are very lovely.
