My father served in the Canadian army from 1939 to 1946. He was stationed predday in England. My mother served in the British Land Army and worked at Gumber farm. They met and married in England before returning to Sault Ste Marie Ontario at wars end. Mom came over on the old Queen Mary with 4000 other war brides. Miss them.
