This was my first cash register. I've had it about 17 years now and would never part with it. This is a Model 8 with the top sign and the keys. It also has the man's name under the drawer and on the register itself. It has a name plate on the front. His name is Liford Stiers. It also has the little lock box inside the drawer with that key. I believe I am the second person to own this. It works perfect! Use it all the time in the summer to get change for the soda machine thats out in the man cave. This cash register has 12 patent dates that range from May 26,1885 to June 13, 1893. The serial number is 306705 Model 8.
