Unusually for something bought in the UK, this piece is acid-marked (and in a relatively unusual way with almost cursive script). It was meant for the English-speaking world. I would go as far as to wonder if it has made its way back to Europe from the USA?
    It is 21cm high.
I think it Kralik but there has been a lot of debate about the contribution of lesser appreciated makers like Tomschick and reference to 1950s magazine pieces telling us that their work was very difficult to tell apart. I am sure that debate will go on as neither makers' work is well documented from this period and there is no way, I think, to be completely sure about the marks applied to glass, other than through comparison of multiple examples. I think the attribution of all of this type of production will have to reference Kevin's comments on Tomschick for the moment.

Gorgeous Ian. I think I had a bid on this one too, or it was one very similar. Love it. Really nice
