    Higgins fused art glass from the 60's. Psychedelic purples and yellows weave through this beautiful drop out vase....Reminded me of a mushroom cap and made it even more delectable (collectible).........

      Higgins Glass is still in business and still making this pattern. Not sure how this one was dated to the 1960s? I was not familiar with this company so browsed their web site:

      Nice to see another older American art glass company still in business!

      Based on what I read on their web site, it sounds to me as though these folks were doing studio art glass in their living room before Harvey Littleton's time.
