A 1890s 9ct rose gold Victorian butterfly.
The 7 Rubies are a beautiful red colour. The 6 Sapphires are a lovely blue. There are 24 Rose cut Diamonds which I have tested, and 3 natural pearls, the stones, and Pearls are set in silver.
The butterfly was made around 1880s. I have taken off the hinge and pin, I can wear it has a pendant, also there is a safety chain. The butterfly has no marks which was common for this period, but the gold does test 9ct.
It weighs approx 15 gram and is a large piece. I also have another similar butterfly which I will post at a later date.
