I'm not sure what this thing is, but i found it at Urban Ore in Berkeley a month or so ago. i assume it must be a coaster, but if anyone else has an idea, i'm all ears! no signature or mark.

are we sure it's not a fine porcelain???
it's just under 4 inches across and 3 inches high. i thought it was porcelain and now i think it may be glass. kind of hard to tell. thanks aghcollect and TallCakes!
