This is a black glazed 10" handled vase ,
i loved the shape & colour so bought it !!
The base is impressed "SORNAGA" there is also another mark thats virtually impossible to read...
The only thing i can find is sornaga is a pottery factory in Egypt which specialises in roof tiles ,facing bricks , tiles etc...
maybe ive been looking at the wrong pottery???
Its a great looking vase & i would love to find out more about it, if anyone has any ideas or info it will be very much appreciated ;-)

Fantastic!!!!!!... shaped handle.. and that looooong neck!...what a lovely shaped vase! and the black just adds to drama of it...:-)
