This painting is one of four that came out of my Grandmother's house. They are quite large and heavy, because the painting surface is stone, maybe marble or quartz. The paintings are all different Asian scenes, very intricately done. The frames are heavy, dark wood, with Asian looking, decorative metal hangers.

Anything I can find out about them would be appreciated. They may be from WWl or WWll time, not sure.

    Thanks, Kate

Jim, I did find some on line and yes, they are porcelain. Still don't know much more about them, process, etc.

      Thanks

Thanks so much. We will see if one of the frames can carefully be taken off.
