This company was founded sometime prior to 1900 and provided exchange telephone service in towns along the New Hampshire-Maine border in the Ossipee Valley region. The sign measuring 17"x22" indicates that Ossipee Valley Tel & Tel as a Sub-Licensee provided local exchange service with available connections to New Eng Tel & Tel's extensive network of toll lines. Ossipee Valley Tel & Tel
