I found these dolls at a small local flee market. I have 4 dolls, there bodies made from foam. One doll has a cloth wrapped body, reminds me of cotton. All their legs and arms are made from a bendable rope, even the little baby doll that is being held. Their faces, hands, feet are bisque/porcelain. I found a made in tawain on the foot of the cloth body one. And the 'b' logo fell off of one of the others.
Does anyone know anything about these dolls.. thanks.

Did you ever find out anything about the dolls? Where they may have come from? Who made them or anything? The reason I am asking is my Mother passed a doll down to me like this. She told me that it was her mother's doll. It has a rope body with foam wrapped around the middle body. Ceramic head , hands and shoes. Just like the ones in you picture.

If you find out any thing can you please let me know.

I got one of these dolls at goodwill and have only found info saying they are from Sears from the 1970's so far.
