I got this lamp years ago on Ebay, listed as an antique Art Nouveau piece . I've never been able to find any info about it since then. It certainly looks old and hand carved. It is gracefully carved with intertwining ferns and tendrils. It really is beautiful. It has an old bakelite plug, but we rewired it and added a new switch assembly. The enlongated harp was on it when I bought it. It's 16" tall to the top of the base (not including the harp). Can anyone help me find out more about it, what is it's value, what wood is it made of, etc.? Would it be more correctly called a Black Forest piece? Is it mahogany? Country of origin? I do have more pictures I can add. Thanks!
