Here's a photo of the right proper Dapper Dan who married the pretty young girl in my previous post. No, I just made that up but as collectors we often get to fabricate our own stories! He has quite the 'stache and piercing eyes... I bet he was a real ladies man.

I did get this photo and the pretty girl from the same seller though. He had a whole pile of old photographs and I don't know if he originally got them from one source or more likely he accumulated them over time as part of his ongoing collection.

The only defining feature on this photo is the name "Goodman" handwritten very small on the right side of the oval. Could be the name of the subject or that of the photographer. There's no writing on the back of the photo nor on the original backing card for the frame it was once in, which still has the original wall hanger string.

The card mount measures 7" x 8.75" and the oval photo is 3-5/8" x 5-1/8".

I was so inspired by the 'stache that I've been growing my own for the past nine months! It's now just as superb, but a little better groomed. Am not quite sold on the fellow's hairstyle though...
