    Johnson Bros lidded tureen & vegetable bowl type plate , the design is Dream Town . The tureen is nearly 12" w x 5" h & the bowl slightly smaller , i love the pattern & colours ..
    it states on the base -
    A GENUINE HAND ENGRAVING
    ALL DECORATION UNDER THE SLATE
    DETERGENT & ACID RESISTING COLOUR
    PAT PEND.
    I would have thought possibly 1950s , & A1 condition..
    something a little different !

      I found one reference that says the pattern was made from 1956 - 1974.
