These four pair of scissors belonged to my grandmother. How many dresses, diapers, dishtowels may have been cut by these scissors! No markings that I could find, either never had or they were worn or sharpened off long ago. I've looked to match their shapes, found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Thanks, Peasejean, yes I've often thought about their history and what they meant to my grandmother and our family. Thanks also for your comment about the photo, I had a similar photo of them posted on FB and an art dealer suggested I have it framed as a work of art. Some vintage objects can be very charming, can't they? :)
I think we have a really large pair somewhere I do remember them they were so well made & can get heavy.

99% of all the old thing's were made this way even when ruff. It wasn't a throw away world the way it is today, all made cheap to break so we have to go & by more. It usually doesn't matter what we pay for them they are made to break. Have a good day
