One of my favorite collections, Charles Field Haviland Limoges, pattern CFH-177, dates to early 1920s. Collecting it for more than a decade now, and I'm ashamed to admit that I can now serve a full four-course meal to 24 in this service. Use it as often as possible.
Thanks! They were meant to be used, and I do. I also realize that after I'm gone, it will only be valuable to someone who has fond memories of associated with this china. It's difficult to feel sentimental about something that's kept under lock and key and not really part of your life.
