Recently purchased a large group of pinback buttons on eBay and this was part of the lot. Looks to be an Old Military coat button but it doesn't have a makers mark. If any of you guys can help me ID the button let me know.

I had a button I wanted to ID, there is a site that lists all US military buttons with pictures, let me see ... I think this was it.

Thanks Kathy much appreciated. I was told this may be a WW1 era USNR Button but not sure yet.

Well it is Naval, based on the anchor, as mine was. Mine also didn't have a mark and was not an exact match to any of the buttons, so I think it was probably a button made commercially for the public, not a button meant for military uniform. Good luck!

That's very strange! I can see it when I click through on another page, but not through the link posted here.

You might try going to the site, metaldetectingworld.com, then accessing the index from there. Sorry for the mixup!
