Vintage House in which Jennie was shot match holder. I received this from my Grandfather and wanted to show and tell the item. Still opens and closes nicely.

By the way, I haven't looked this up, but just the other day I realized what has to be the reason they call these "Vestas". Vesta was the Roman goddess who governed the home and hearth. Her temple had a sacred FLAME. Not to mention the Vestal Virgins. I felt dumb for not thinking of it before. I thought it was a brand name!
