I found this among my mother's belongs. I believe the metal is silver but I don't know what the stone is. My mom has a lot of Native American jewelry and this piece is a bit odd. Someone told be it was a talisman?
Can anyone tell me what this is? I was thinking a hawks foot?

Birds of prey (hawk, falcon, eagle, etc.) tend to have more of a curved, very sharp nail. I would guess this to be a wild turkey foot.
