This is some of my pottery collection I've acquired over the years from auctions. Most of it dates from the 1920's to the 1980's. Although I have many different types of pottery, Van Briggle is one of my favorite to collect. Hope all you pottery lovers enjoy the pictures!

Thanks leighannrn and rocker-sd.
Wow! LOVE this collection. I'm a Weller girl myself but I am always sneaking glances at Van Briggle. So very pretty.
Thanks AmberRose. I do like weller myself, but don't currently own any.
Thanks Alisonf.
I was at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago and picked up two vases. One was a Van Briggle and the other was ... a Weller. They seem to play together nicely.
Its nice to find VB and Weller pieces at garage sales, I have yet to find any. Right place and time makes all the difference in the world.
It was at an Estate Garage Sale, and indoors. The Weller was well signed but the Van Briggle caught my eye and I instantly thought VB and but turned over to look at the mark on the bottom and it was hard to make out right off. For the price I went with my gut, picking up both pieces in my arm load.
This sale had been going for a couple of days and most of the good stuff was gone. It was on a very well traveled road. I don't think anyone knew VB or Weller, or didn't give the vases a second glance. Of course you wonder if this is what they missed, what did the first people get?
Thanks AR8Jason.
Wow, all I see at garage sales is old Christmas decorations. I need to move. Where are you at AR8Jason??? ;)
