Sorry for the lateral view. As soon as I can download from smartphone to computer I will make this easier to view. Is this classified as a card table? Grew up with this in my home, therefore it's been in my home prior to 1959. The print of Venice? has iridescence (abalone?) possibly pressed into the buildings and boats. Unusual to pair this with what appears to be cherubs and astrological figures in gold color on the outer border. The table still folds down and has a metal slip lock to secure it in a table position. It was always in our living room and in the upright position.
