Amanda Marie (A.M. ) Hunter-Titus was the daughter-in-law of Willie Titus , son of the slave,Edward "Ned" Titus. She was a very skilled quilt maker and business women in the Brown's Creek Community in Freestone County,Texas.
Amanda called "Sweet" by those who knew her....learned to quilt from her mother and then married into a family of prolific quilt makers in the Titus Farm Community. The above creations are many of her wonderful artworks that she put together doing her lifetime.
The last photo is her personal quilting frame that she used to create her artworks.
