First of all I do not know much about this - but it was another thing that was kept in the *Victorian Papier Mache Box* I previously posted.

~ What would I call this? Weaved? Twisted? Not sure...

~ I am wondering IF this could be Sterling Silver? Guess could have tested..

~ Is this hand-man item by a Regular Joe at home - like a vintage craft item ?

    ~ Home-made? Craft ?

~ The little blue stones are just pretty, but you can tell a Big glob of glue was put down first to hold them in -- Either when made, or re-done after to make sure they stayed in....

Kinda Pretty, different and Unique. By the looks of it -- I am thinking Sterling Silver.

    Any help, opinions appreciated!!

Maybe Filigree? It's very pretty... Reminds me a bit of Turkish jewelry.

Yeah, Filigree I think -- I could not think of that for the life of me.

Figures..............Suffering with a cold, cough and ear-ache now. So a little foggy here....LOL

Heehee, You know when I picked this name, first when I joined, I had no idea I would be using it so much... My little Kitty (DrFluffy) was sitting next to me, so I decided to use it. Now I am thinking it's a bit silly...

and yes, I do think it's pretty prevalent in middle east to use filigree method for jewelry.
