The age of a Pfaltzgraff stoneware crock with the original silver sticker is baffling me. Internet research tells me that Pfaltzgraff produced stoneware before 1930. I cannot find any reference to the silver sticker. This beautiful crock is 8 1/2" tall and 8" from handle to handle. The crock looks like it was never used. Anyone with knowledge of Pfaltzgraff history is needed! Thanks!

It could have been "gold" the coating worn with time.

As they’re still in business, I’m sure you could contact them for more info on the piece

It's not really the same Co. any longer, just a name. Historians and archivists are the first to go after being sold, most likely the call center will have no past product information available to them or for you. There are a few with that same label on eBay.
