    Hi, can anyone tell me anything about
    This item ? Its 21" long and 2" wide It does seem to have beans or something
    inside it What is it and where was it made
    I've never seen anything like it thanks.

      What is it made of, ceramic, cloth, papier-mache, can you tell?

      Looks Indian, I'd say off hand.

      Oh I thought it was a large piece, and you meant the beans were inside rattling! So this is a small piece, the size of a vanilla bean pod? What is the size?

      This piece also reminds me of the Mexican diablitos.

      This is some definite window shelf action for me...love it! That's a natural dried type of bean. What you hear are dried ...like peas in a pod, but dried to make the noise like a rattle snake OR I forget what they're called but it sounds like rain when you slowly tilt it. Sorry if I'm the only one that knows what I mean...hahaha
