Elsie Nichols, a cousin of mine, who played Rosemary" in her sister, Anne Nichol's, play "Abie's Irish Rose" in the 1920s. Her other sister, Evelyn, also played the part of Rosemary. The play became very famous after being panned by all of the theatre critics.
