This is a Duncan Phyfe sofa that my wife and I found yesterday while out picking. It was being thrown away by a man who thought it was ugly. After vacuuming 40 years of dust and stuff, and a gentle cleaning by my wife, it now resides in our living room. The upholstery appears to be silk. and there are a few worn spots. Someone had no idea how to care for this beautiful piece.
