Very nice. Does it have hallmarks, makers mark?

No marks that I can see. I will look again.

It looks a nice quality compact, have you looked inside on the bottom, usually the mark would be at the bottom, or maybe on the clasp? Good luck.

I could not stand the suspense. It is signed LAM and the initials have an arrow going through them. I never noticed it before.

It's called a wristlet and it looks as if this one is silver. It's very pretty!

The hallmark sounds familiar too. I'll see what I can find.

I believe this is an Elgin, marked EAM and is silver. It looks like one made by Elgin too, the same elgin as the watch company. They did quality work and this is very possibly from early 1900's.

There are probably more markings yet hard to see or just worn down. They've been there for quite some time ;)

Well done shareurpassion , I was very interested in this piece, I have a few compacts myself, nothing similiar to this. You can see its quality.

Vintagelamp, I do believe it is Elgin. It's got that classic look about it! They made everything so well.
