    Porcelain, bowl has patterned glass and lamp bulb goes inside. From my parents house who are recently deceased. I loved this when a child. So must be 1960 or 70. It won't have been expensive but would really appreciate if any one could tell me anything about the date or style.

      The shape of the headdress and shoulders suggest a Siamese costume. Of course that says nothing about where the lamp was made.

      Thank you. Dad was in the navy and we have stuff from Rio, Trinidad and I think he may have been stationed in burma. I just thought it was some tat mam had collected but now I'm not so sure.
