    Unknown wooden tool from my grandfathers tool box. The metal is very thin brass such that I don't think it would work for marking without bending.

      Thanks. I found this in my grandfathers toolbox of woodworking tools. But what you're saying makes sense because my great-grandfather ran a general store in a very rural part of Georgia. He may have used it sealing flour sacks or feed bags or anything else he sold by the bag. Thanks again.
