The Eastern Telephone Company, The Readfield Telephone Company,The Crosby Telephone Company, The Bingham and Moose River Telephone Company, The Somerset Telephone Company, The Central Maine Telephone Company, The Bolster's Mills Telephone Company, The Clinton Telephone Company and established exchanges of New Eng Tel & Tel at Wilton, Livermore Falls, Skowhegan, Winthrop, Bethel, Rumford, Andover and Dixfield were combined into Maine Tel & Tel. and located in Rumford. Maine. Tel & Tel was purchsed outright by New Eng Tel & Tel during 1930.
