I have this Royal Albert Silver Birch piece that i do not know what it is. It is exactly like a teacup but with no handle. Same measurements as a teacup.
I do not think it is a waste bowl, too small. I do not think it is a sugar bowl because it is taller than most sugar bowl. I am starting to think it is a "flaw" teacup without a handle? Just want to know what it is. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, that is the open Marmalade Pot.

Unfortunately it is not the marmalade pot, the lid for it does not fit [as i have a marmalade pot lid but not the pot] and there is no rim inside for the lid to sit on. Thank you for your comment.

Okay, well there is a marmalade pot with a lip for the lid, and there is an open marmalade pot which doesn't have the lip and has decoration inside, but I'm no expert.

What is the diameter across top? - This pattern had an open sugar bowl (no lid) with a diameter of 2 1/2" across.

I did not realize there was an open marmalade pot which doesn't have the lip, maybe this is what it is?

It is 2 3/4" high; 3 in diameter across
