      he's cool .. google 'GEORGE JONES MAJOLICA' he made these type of items ..
      there are lots of majolica makers including MINTONS & DOULTON, worth a try ..I used to have a monkey majolica jug a few moons ago which was Chinese , also several majolica makers across Europe ..
      you can try google images majolica monkey and see what pops up..
