Limoges demitasse teacup red stamp marked Brederick Bascombe
Teacup 2 1/2" wide 2 1/2" height
Saucer 4 7/8" wide
Delicate soft pink rose pattern with gold
Received as a gift from my aunt for helping them move
Just wondering if anyone knows the history of this cup?
Age, pattern etc?

Can you get a clearer picture of the mark so all the wording can be read on the red circle? - Also, I believe that is Frederick Bascombe, not Brederick

I think you are correct it does look like Frederick not Brederick-need reading glasses everything gets blurred sometimes! I posted another clearer picture of the bottom-Do you know any history?

There looks like there is writing in the circle around the Frederick Bascombe but can't make it out -thank you so much for your help!!
As I suspected, the Frederick Buscombe mark was a retailer’s mark. He had a housewares store in Vancouver and was also mayor. Here’s a link to ore info. I will look into the maker’s mark

It was made by a company called Mavaleix (Paul Maurice Mavaleix), between 1908-14. The company became Maveleix & Granger in 1914. Here’s a link showing the mark, just scroll down the page:
