This World War I era songsheet features the lyrics and music for George M. Cohan's "Over There". A popular tune, no doubt which garnered many enlistees for The USA's participation in The Great War.

First published in 1917, by the Leo Feist Company of NY, to me, it appears that it was intended for the piano. Text on the inside notes that the music for this song was also available for "The Talking Machine and your Player Piano" as well as for band, orchestra and male quartet, for prices of 25, 25 and 10 cents respectively. (I wonder if the publisher and George M. kicked back any profits to Soldiers' and their families home relief?).

Along with the music, the French and English lyrics, the inside pages feature Leo Feist's motto which states "You can't go wrong with a Feist song".

The back features a free song, and a pitch for other Feist songs.

Just as an aside, this sheet reminds me that up until about 1950, most USA homes had pianos, for playing and for family sing alongs.
