    Hakata ningyo
    from Fukuoka, Japan
    @ my cousin's place

    1. Hakata ningyo (Approximately 14" tall)
See that pretty smile? They say she looks happier now in her place. However, when she arrived in The Philippines from Japan in 2012, she looked so unhappy the moment they took her out of the box.

    2. Miniature Hakata ningyõ (Approximately only 1.5" tall)
a couple of small well-detailed clay figures.

    3. Traditional Hakata Ningyõ (Approximately 4" tall)
a contemporary version of the traditional Hakata Ningyo.

      I love your dolls.
I'm sorry to have tried to correct you on a previous post....I didn't realize your Japanese background. Welcome to CW.

No worries. I enjoy reading other people's ideas as it adds up to what we know of things. Keep rocking!
