Some of my favorite signs/mirrors from the old family buisness. Prior ro my grand parents the great grand parents were distillers. Prohibition came along and shut them down. After the repeal the family became distributors for McCormick in the Kansas City area, and at the height of their buisness had 8 stores. Soon after grand dad passed grandma began selling stores off until she had just the one that she ran until the day she passed away. It is the family bar that the signs hang around, stocked to the gills with so much of the knick knacks and bottles that I remember as a kid. When dad passed away in 2013 mom told me that the bar had to come home with me... All of it. So my youngest son and I made a trip across Texas, loaded our 16'trailer down with bar and bar accessories and drug it all home, much to my bride's dismay. The bar was built in the 50's has traveled thousands of miles and holds a place of honor in my home.
