We picked up this gravy ladle at the local swap meet. Would appreciate any information given. It is a beauty, but we can't make out the words on the back of the piece. It looks like it starts with a 12.
The ladle is not magnetic, but not sure if that means it is Sterling or not.
Help!
Its a beautiful ladle ..
give it a good clean with silver polish & if silver it'll come up like new! !
Personally i think its plated , possibly on brass or nickel silver which your magnet wont work on either.. normally silver will be marked - sterling- or have hallmarks or .925 stamped into it , but not always!!
Could also be a toddy ladle .. i have a couple listed if you want a peek ;-)
