This is about 7" tall x 6" across. I cannot make out who made it. Think it says Handpainted. Thought it might be Nippon or Noritake, but did not see this logo when I looked at websites.
Any help is appreciated.
I believe the bottom word is Reinstadt. Go to http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com. The hallmark should be there. Look under german porcelain. Love it.
its Nippon , its marked Japan and its Nippon !!!
It was made in Japan by IE & C Company of Nagoya, Japan in 1920-30’s
I’m not sure if you know this, but the word “Nippon" translates to “JAPAN”. however Nippon collectors concentrate on products made by Noritake and the companies who produced for them, such as Morimura Brothers.
In other words, you won’t find the mark on your piece on any Nippon collector’s site mark’s guide, even though it was made in the same area-Nagoya
