My grandma drank out of this for years and it is just strange looking. It has rises and dips all over it.

A base picture will help but I think this is a 60s Japanese OTK vase.

      OTK?
      What does that stand for?

OTK is a brand name that's all!
After having seen the base I'm now not so sure - still likely Japanese though.
