fenton-hob…
(124 items)
this is a collection of fenton hobnail oil cruets. starting on the far left on the bottom is the blue opalescent marigold carnival cruet made for the Levay company in the 1980's. this is shown in better detail in the third pic. you can see how the piece started as blue and was then given a treatment of marigold carnival finish. next behind it is the french opalescent cruet. moving to the right we have the blue opalescent cruet. then the cranberry opalescent one followed by the turquoise pastel one. and finally is the amber opalescent hobnail one. this one is very scarce...made for only a short period of time. this is showed in greater detail in pic 4. on the top row is the topaz [yellow] cruet which is hard to find in today's glass market and finally we have the wisteria [light purple] cruet which is a sample. very few of these were made...if any besides this one....rare! rare! rare!...it was purchased from the fenton museum. hope you all enjoy!
