I bought this doll from a local thrift store and I can not find anything on her. I am thinking she is vintage because she has a three leaf clover with a capital S in it and japan written on the bottom. when I search for those markings, it brings me to old Japanese dolls. Can someone help me and tell me anything about her? please. Her PJ's say Texas to Rome, if that helps anyone. Thank you, my email is dayna.mobbs@yahoo.com

She is a made by " Sekiguchi dolls Japan " they are still in business I would say your doll dates from around 1970's era there abouts . That is their mark on foot .

Huh, I would have said 60s from the color of the hair and lipstick. Nice catch, Manikin, you're the best. :)

katherine I would date her around 70's give or take a year back or forward . It is well made using model of Kewpie's Star fish hands and typical large eyes Japan did on dolls made for export .

I knew she was made by "sekigchi dolls japan" but I can't find any pictures of any dolls like her. Even on their website. I thought if I found a doll like her on the "sekigchi" website, then I would know the year she was made But like I said, I can't find any doll like her but finding her mark was easy. This is a really mystery! R hanks everyone for trying and looking.
