Rare Cowan "Congo Head" statue designed by Waylande Gregory.
Impressed "Cowan" and "W. Gregory" on the plinth. Height 14 3/4 inches. A nearly identical piece is pictured in Bassett in color plate 407 And in Dr. Tom Folks book.
