This is about 3 inches tall. It's a very dark wood not stained maybe Ebony, hand carved. That's about all I know. I have had it for sometime now

Yes, this is a very beautiful handcarved mate for me.
True, the yerba is expensive here too, of course, is addictive, people need the mate so much.
But...you are so smart that your choice was excellent, beer is healthy too but a little risky when you drink so much :)))

The yerba is like a tea or coffe and no more, the effects are similars.
You need drink to feel good, you need a time to drink alone or share in family or with friends. Is a lovely custom :)

Eye4, try the beer! Maybe a bit of "mate" on the side. LOL!! After 24 tea bags of "mate", I did not develope an addiction. I er a fin a' de mo'mnt. Maybe I shouldn't have had all 24 bags in 1 cup? Never believed in moderation! Lets get there!!!! LOL!!

Vintage, Je ne comprend pas! Bambilla? Bulb en Anglias? I may have exaggerated on the 24 bags as I did try 2 cups with single bags so there were only 22 bags in the 3rd cup. LOL!!

Vintage, those look like "coke spoons" for people who are trying to break the habit! (See "coke fork" I posted awhile back). We aren't talking about "adrenaline", but "spiking out" on caffeine! What I refer to as, getting my blood-caffeine level up to operating level.

Firstly thanks for the loves for such a simple mug I just always thought it was sweet. Being hand carved also made it favourable for me. Secondly Virgina.vintage don't worry about something like that we can all do it sometimes something will just get us going so wasn't offended at all, I never point a figure when I have done the some thing myself glad I had a small hand in getting a chat going. I was really surprised in the interest. Yeah Phil it is fine & ever so light that's how I manage to sneak it in as a keep sake when we moved. Take care all & have a great day hunting
