    Hi there,

I have found this quaint little liquid container but the question is, what did it hold?

It smells like perfume when you unscrew the lid, but it also has slight blue staining that looks like it could have held ink.

It has probably been used for both perfume and ink over the years but which was it designed for originally and any clues as to when it would have been made? It is possibly French as I bought it in a market near the French border. I suppose it is made from stainless steel.

It stands 5 cms tall and is about 2 cms wide.

If you know more than me I would love to hear from you.

    Many thanks.

I think there is remains of glass inside, as though there was a liquid proof lining at one stage, that has now broken.

      Thanks for the love guys.
