This sign was from a local shop near me called 'Andrews Radio Ltd' that had been a part of Putney since the war. Sadly recently it has been sold to be converted to flats and I managed to get hold of the sign from the front of the shop that has been there as far back as I can remember, before it was dumped in the skip (thanks to the builder). I restored it, replaced the tubes and starters and it works a treat! I just want to know the year of manufacture and value.

This link gives a little history and states that the Philips shield appeared first in 1938.
