    These three items promoted now defunct businesses in the Wilkes-Barre, PA.

    The Service plaque was quite an accomplishment, I suppose, but Chrysler yanked the franchise in the early 2000s, in their "Great Purge" of dealerships. The same fate befell Wilkes-Barre Dodge. Incidentally, the Dodge plate looks better in person than in this image. The surface is of shiny brushed Aluminum.

    The tie box is from a venerable Wilkes-Barre Mens' furnishing store. Stetz' rendered good service and fashionable items to its customers. Retirement of the owners caused this store to shutter its operation.
