    Hi Everyone here i have a Travelers trunk inherited from my mother. I would love to know more about it if anyone can shed any light.
    Painted green by her
    large in size but fairly light has drawer like system inside
    One leather strap on one end.
    made by J.E Fournier, montreal
    L=109 cm
    W =56 cm
    D = 46 cm

    I think it was brought over to New Zealand by my grandparents from Holland but i am going to confirm this!

    Thanks for your time!

      Looks like a trunk made around 1930's to 40's. The Fournier company still exists in Montreal now making suitcases etc. This one is most likely covered in vulcanized fiber. I actually have one of their earliest trunks from about 1880 on my site. Neat to have a family trunk. Thanks for the post!
