antique cigar table??

Can anyone please tell what this is? I though it was a antique cigar table. I picked it up at a antique store in Ohio. I repaint old wood furniture and thought this would be a great piece! I have tried to look online and can't seem to find anything even close to it. It's made out of oak and pine wood. It also came with a ashtray in the center of the drawer. Thanks!!
