I'd been searching for this vase ever since seeing one posted here at CW and was recently able to find one. The décor is Candia Papillon, and I believe it dates to the late 1890's. If anyone can help pinpoint the date, I'd appreciate it. It measures 6" h x 5" w and is a perfect compliment to my other Loetz shells. I don't know , but there's something about the shell form that fascinates me. With all the various shapes and colors available, I'm sure I'll be adding one or two more in the future.
